Azurite has been a stone held high in spiritual reverence. In Ancient Egypt, it was considered to be a sacred stone, saved solely for use by high priestesses and priests. It’s also a stone said to be connected to the lost city of Atlantis. Throughout the whole of history, mystics have turned to Azurite to help connect them with spirit guides. An aura cleanser and a chakra healer – Azurite works to remove blockages from endless energy points, keeping those sweet vibrations flowing. Azurite is connected to the third eye chakra – the place of our deep intuition and inner guidance. It also connects with the heart chakra – where we learn to send love out into the world and how we choose to take love in.

Over time, and in excess, they can also fade or damage some gemstones, such as amethyst. To remove any doubt, store jewelry in a dark pouch or jewelry case.
Chemicals (Keep your jewelry away from chemicals) Exposure to common everyday household chemicals, like ammonia or bleach, can damage both metals and gemstones. Even chemicals that are worn on the body – like hairspray, perfumes and lotions – can affect metals and dull stones. To keep your jewelry looking new, it's best to put on any perfumes, lotions or hairspray BEFORE putting on jewelry. And it's always wise to remove jewelry before swimming or using any type of household cleaners.
